The new Flex Comfort Clamshell for the Model IV Dura-Stilts is an incredible step up in comfort. Now the pads enclose the majority of your calf, instead of just one side. That means you don't have that tight feeling from the strap. Also, the pads are more comfortable. It's more comfortable because of three things: 1st- The clamshell is made of a durable plastic that flexes with your leg. 2nd- The clamshell is made to hinge to fit the contour of your leg. 3rd- The clamshell can be positioned more proportionately to your leg via the upper strut tube. That's not all! The new clamshell's straps can be fastened and unfastened in lightening speed without loosing your adjustment level. The straps have a buckle that hooks into place that is a seperate function from the tightening of the straps! Couple all of that with the optional Lambs Wool Pad Cover and your comfort level will be off the charts. The wool is a great pad that, as expected, is nice and warm during those winter working hours. The great part is, the wool also lets even your bare leg breath better, and sweat easier during those blistering hot summer work hours! |
